Guy V. Oller

Mr. Guy V. Oller, 74, of Temple, Georgia passed away Friday, July 29, 2005 at Tanner Medical Center in Villa Rica, Georgia. Mr. Oller was born October 10, 1930 in Taylorville, Illinois the son of the late Mr. Frank Oller and the late Mrs. Vivian Moses Oller. He was a retired Staff Sergent with the United States Airforce and fought during the Korean conflict and Vietnam Wars. He was involved in the Berlin Airlift. He was also a retired trucker. Mr. Oller enjoyed woodworking and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Doris Campbell Oller of Temple; three daughters, Helene G. Ziegler of Bayside, NY, Ingelore Wood of Virden, IL, Heidi G. Stephens of Senoia, GA; two step-daughters, Brenda Harper of McDonough, Karen Sorrells of Temple; one son, Frank G. Oller of Surprise, AZ; three step-sons, Gary Campbell of Springfield, IL; John Campbell of Griffin, GA, C. Eric Campbell of Douglasville; five sisters, Virginia Shea of Hot Springs Village, AZ, Mary Ellen Uhrick of Morrisville, IL, Phyllis Cravens of Kincaid, IL, Donna Jean Harris of Taylorville, IL, Patricia Sills of Shelbyville, IL; one brother, Leland Oller of Taylorville, IL; twenty-three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, August 2, 2005 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica with the Rev. Doug Weaver officiating. Interment will follow at Meadowbrook Memory Gardens with military honors. The family will receive friends on Monday, August 1, 2005 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica. Messages of condolence to the family may be sent to www.jones-wynn.com.
