Gwendolyn "Gwendy" Elizabeth Dobbs

Gwendolyn "Gwendy" Elizabeth Dobbs, age 37, of Villa Rica, Georgia passed away Monday, December 27, 2021. She was born November 26, 1984 in Lithia Springs, Georgia. Gwendy was preceded in death by her mother, Carol Warren Dobbs; her maternal grandparents, Dr. William Ira and Gwendolyn ( Munner) Warren; and her paternal grandparents, O.C. and Lula Dobb. She is survived by her father, Alfred Jerome "A. J." Dobbs; daughter, Madison Bishop; son, Luke Bishop; brother, Joshua Jerome "Josh" Dobbs, nieces, Jana Dobbs and Leah Dobbs; nephews, Cameron Dobbs and Colton Dobbs; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends. Gwendy was a graduate of Alexander High School in Douglasville, Georgia. Gwendy loved anything outside, from playing ball to gardening. She was known as a hard worker her entire life and was a member of Ephesus Baptist Church. Gwendy greatest loves were her children, Madison and Luke. She will be deeply missed by her adoring family and devoted friends. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home Villa Rica Chapel on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM. A Memorial Service to Honor and Celebrate the Life of Gwendy Dobbs will be conducted at 3:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Dr. Billy Godwin officiating.
