Hal Reese Wentz

Mr. Hal Reese Wentz, age 61, of Hoschton, Georgia passed away Monday, October 4, 2021. He was born December 6, 1959 in Atlanta, Georgia, the son of the late Mr. Paul Henry Wentz and Mrs. Rosa Lee Reese Wentz. He worked as a land preserve manager for over 30 years. Mr. Wentz loved anything outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Kara and Joshua Cole of Newnan; his "honorary" son and his wife, Cole and Natalie Hudgens of Hoschton; his mother, Mrs. Rosa Lee Reese Wentz of Lithia Springs; his brothers and sister-in-law, Henry and Becky Wentz of McDonough and Marion Wentz of Lithia Springs; his grandchildren, Ira Cole and Harvey Cole of Newnan; nieces and nephews, Amy and Brian Nix, Todd and Jody Wentz and Brian and Marissa Wentz; and a number of great nieces and great nephews also survive. Mr. Wentz will be cremated and his remains will be spread at some of his favorite places. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home and Crematory of Douglasville, Saturday, October 16, 2021 from 2:00PM until 3:00PM followed by Memorial Service at 3:00PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn, Douglasville with Pastor Todd Wentz officiating.
