Miss Haley Alexis Priest, age 21, of Dallas, GA passed away Saturday, June 1, 2019 at the National Institute of Health Clinical Center in Bethesda, MD after a strong and courageous battle with an unknown immune disease. She was surrounded by her family. Haley was born in Austell, GA, January 19, 1998 and was a lifelong resident of Dallas, GA. Haley was very artistic, enjoyed working on art projects and loved all kinds of music. Haley had a captivating personality, an unforgettable smile and a spark in her eye that you just couldn't forget. Haley was a 2016 graduate of Paulding County High School, and had started college at Chattahoochee tech. When Haley's condition began to worsen she was accepted at the National Institute of Health where she made a lasting impact on everyone she met and all the employees that had contact with her. She made a lasting impact on everyone she met everywhere. Haley spent the last 6 months of her life at the NIH with her grandmother Pat at her side. She is survived by her mother and step-father, Janet and Cortney Rogers of Dallas, GA; father and step-mother, Nathan and Dottie Priest of Mobile, AL; grandparents, Greg and Patricia Willingham of Dallas, GA; grandparents, Rick and Rose Priest of Marietta, GA; brothers, Garrett Davis, Austin Priest, Justin Priest and Austin Rogers of Dallas, GA; sister, Haley Shay Rogers; aunts, Candi and Jace Hawkins of Douglasville, GA, April and Matt Myers of Dallas, GA and Sandra Rymer of Dallas, GA; 3 nieces, several cousins, great aunts and uncles also survive.She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Gail Priest. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Sunday, June 9, 2019 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Monday, June 10, 2019 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Dr. Keith Stell officiating. Interment will follow at Meadowbrook Memory Gardens.
