Harold Howard

Rev. Harold E. Howard, Sr., age 75, of Winston, Georgia passed away Friday, April 10, 2015 at his home. He was born September 21, 1939 in Atlanta, Georgia, the son of the late Mr. William H. Howard and the late Mrs. Rona Mae Simmons Howard. He served in the ministry for over 50 years. He served as Pastor at Bethel Baptist Church, Bible Baptist Church, Friendship Baptist Church in College Park, Liberty Baptist Church in Winston and Shiloh Baptist Church. He was a devoted man of God that loved his family, friends, and church family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy Thompson Howard; daughter, Angela Howard; and a sister, Joyce Touchston. He is survived by his wife, Judy Jones Howard of Winston; son and daughter-in-law, Rev. Happy and Tammy Howard of Winston; daughters and a son-in-law, Wendy and Ricky Agan of Winston and Tammie Agan of Winston; stepdaughter, Angela Justice of Douglasville; stepson and daughter-in-law, Robby and Christine Eaton of Winston; sister, Julie Swann of Calhoun; seven grandchildren and their spouses, Ryan and Jaime Agan, Bradley and Jordyn Howard, Chase Agan and his fiancé, Laree Bradford, Andrew Agan, Brooke Howard, Alison Agan, and Chasidy Agan all of Winston; four great-grandchildren, Chance Agan, Malachi Agan of Winston, Bailee Bradford, and Blaklee Bradford of McDonough; five step-grandchildren, Caleb Eaton, Seth Eaton, Joshua Eaton, Jordyn Justice, and Trenton Justice and his wife, Gaby; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville, Saturday, April 11, 2015 from 2:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Rev. Howard will lie in state at Shiloh Baptist Church from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Sunday, April 12, 2015 at 3:00 PM at Shiloh Baptist Church, 9060 Ephesus Church Road, Villa Rica, Georgia, with Rev. Preston Moore, Rev. Happy Howard and Mr. Andrew Agan officiating. Interment will follow at Cool Springs Cemetery in Winston. Those desiring to do so may make contributions in memory of Rev. Harold E.
