Mr. Harold L. Jean, age 75, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Friday, November 26, 2010 at the VA Medical Center in Atlanta. He was born July 1, 1935 in Opelika, Alabama the son of the late Mr. John Francis Jean and the late Mrs. Susie McKee Jean. He served in the U.S. Navy as a Gunner Mate 3rd Class on the USS Fletcher during the Korean Conflict. He retired as a supervisor from Dolly Madison & Colonial Bread Company. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Lee Dunn Jean; daughter, Melody Lynn Jean; and 3 brothers. He is survived by his son, Brad Jean of Douglasville; 2 grandchildren, Megan Jean of Lithia Springs and Justin Jean of Smyrna; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at 1:00 PM from the Douglas Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Mozley Memorial Gardens with military honors provided by the Georgia National Guard Funeral Honor Guard. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel, Monday, November 29, 2010 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mr. Harold L.
