Harold Mack Jones

Mr. Harold Mack Jones, 76, of Hickory Level Community, Carrollton, Georgia passed away Friday, July 8, 2005 at his residence. He was born March 4, 1929, in Cherokee County, Georgia. He was the son of the late Doc Jones and the late Scriney Jones. Mr. Jones was a glazier and had worked for Acme and Action Glass Company of Atlanta. He was a Baptist but attended the First Methodist Church of Villa Rica for 22 years. In addition to his parents, Mr. Jones was preceded in death by two sisters, Pearl Craft and Mary Brown and six brothers, Roger Jones, Henry Jones, Herman Jones, Hubert Jones, Jay Jones and Truman Jones. Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Mrs. Bobbie Sue Hutcheson Lee Pope Jones; daughter and son-in-law, Connie and Richard Croom of Villa Rica; son, Anthony Jones of Molena; brother, James Jones of Acworth; grandchildren, Jamie Postell, Carroll Harrison, Kendall Jones, Dr. Sabrina Lee Collins, Dr. March Lee, Virginia S. Lee, Matthew Lee, Amanda Lee, Aaron Weisberg, James Lee, Joshua Weisberg and Stephanie Lee Weisberg; 7 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, July 10, 2005 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica with Rev. James Smith and Rev. Ralph Tapley officiating. Pallbearers will be Robert McCary, Clovis Ray, Harold McKelvey, Bob Bradley, Bill Adair, Jack Waldrop and M. L. Bagley. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Villa Rica, Georgia.
