Harold Satterwhite

Rev. Harold Leon Satterwhite, Sr., age 82, of Villa Rica, passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2013. He was born February 26, 1930 in Yatesville the son of the late Mr. Alfred Satterwhite and the late Mrs. Mattie May Gaultney Satterwhite. Rev. Satterwhite served in the United States Marine Corps. He began attending Brownwood Baptist Church of Mableton, in 1967 serving several roles, including Sunday School teacher, Deacon, Music Director and Associate Pastor. His life mission was serving the Lord and his family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Harold Leon Satterwhite, Jr. He is survived by his wife, June Green Satterwhite of Villa Rica; daughters and sons-in-law, Angi and Joey Andrews of Villa Rica, Gigi and Billy Chappell of Temple, Nena and Alex Jordan of Keystone Height, FL.; brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Edith Satterwhite, Sr. of McDonald; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren also survive.The family will receive friends from Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Thursday, January 24, 2013 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Friday, January 25, 2013 at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. Tony Powers officiating. Interment will follow in Georgia Memorial Park.
