Mr. Harry âBuddyâ Walker, Jr., 47, of Center Point Road, Temple, Georgia passed away Tuesday, December 27, 2005 at his residence. He was born September 8, 1958, in Fulton County, Georgia. He was the son of the late Harry J. Walker, Sr. and Mrs. Martha Pivey Walker. Mr. Walker attended Millerâs Academy in Bremen. He worked as a cabinetmaker in the construction industry. Mr. Walker enjoyed country music, the outdoors, fishing and sports. In addition to his father, Mr. Walker was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Walker. Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Daphene and Nathan Gray of Carrollton; son and daughter-in-law, Jeremy and Mandy Walker of Bremen; mother, Mrs. Martha Pivey Walker of Temple; sister, Dawn Walker of Michigan; brothers, Allen Walker of Villa Rica, Bill Walker of Temple, Ernest Walker of Jackson, Leslie Walker of Temple, Mike Walker of Wedowee, Alabama and Johnny Walker of Wedowee, Alabama; grandchildren, Austin Gray, Isaiah Gray and Dixie Walker; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, December 30, 2005 at 1:00 PM from the Miller Academy in Bremen, Georgia with Pastor Bill Gray and Mr. Daniel Walker officiating. Mr. Walker will lie in state Friday, December 30, 2005 from 12:00 Noon until 1:00 PM at Miller Academy in Bremen, Georgia. Pallbearers will be David Walker, Dink Walker, Steve Walker, Wesley Walker, Daniel Walker and Carl Morgan. Interment will follow at Draketown Baptist Cemetery in Draketown, Georgia. The family will be receiving friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Wednesday, December 28, 2005 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM and Thursday, December 29, 2005 from 9:00 AM until 9:00 PM with family present from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
