Hazel Ashe

Mrs. Hazel Johnson Ashe, age 79, of Douglasville, passed away, Thursday, March 21, 2019. She was born January 4, 1940 in Lake Toxaway, NC the daughter of the late Mr. Edward Johnson and the late Mrs. Oneda Wilde Johnson. Mrs. Ashe loved to read and make cakes. She taught Sunday School and was the secretary for Douglasville Baptist Temple for several years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Stephen Christopher Ashe.She is survived by her husband, Roy Gene Ashe of Douglasville; daughter, Melony D. Bohanan of Douglasville; son, Gregory G. Ashe of Douglasville; sister and brother-in-law, Joann and Paul Capell of Waxhaw, NC; brothers and sister-in-law, Edward Johnson of Woodstock, David and Linda Johnson of High Point, NC; three grandchildren; three great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friend at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville, Saturday, March 23, 2019 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, March 23, 2019 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. Lamar Rackley and Rev. Neal Beard officiating.
