Hazel Lee Minter

Ms. Hazel Lee Minter, 65, of Buchanan, Georgia passed away Tuesday, September 4, 2007. She was born August 3, 1942 in Haralson County, Georgia; the daughter of the late Joel Maner and the late Annie Lee McElroy Maner. Ms. Minter was a member of Solid Rock Everlasting God’s Church in Douglasville. Survivors include her husband, Floyd Minter; daughter, Carla Abercrombie of Douglasville; sons and daughter in-laws, Marty and Susan Davis of Douglasville, Anthony and Sandy Bivins of Dallas, and Cris and Angie Bivins of Dallas; brother, Marvin Maner of Buchanan; eight grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted on Thursday, September 6, 2007 at 1:00PM at Solid Rock Everlasting God’s Church in Douglasville with Brother Anthony Bivins and Rev. John Bradley officiating. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Wednesday, September 5, 2007 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery in Villa Rica. Ms. Minter will lie in state at the church from 12:00 PM until the funeral hour. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Marty Davis, Michael Davis, Greg Manor, Jeff Manor, Mark Vaughn, and Jason Goolsby.
