Mrs. Hazel Stovall Lee of Carrollton, formally of Temple, passed away Thursday November 25, 2010 at her residence. She was born in Douglas County, Georgia the daughter of the late Stephen Stovall and Mrs. Minnie Aderhold Stovall. She retired after working many years as an office nurse for the late Dr. Robert L. Berry at the Villa Rica Clinic She enjoyed reading, playing cards and traveling. She was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Temple at First Baptist she was a former member of the Fidelis Sunday School Class and sang in the Choir for a number of years. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Charlie E. Lee to whom she was married for 65 years, her sisters, Eura Hunter, Gladys Duren, Mildred Taylor, Lois Helton, her brothers, Claude Stovall, Howard Stovall, Hugh Stovall. She is survived by her daughter, Melba Reynolds of Roswell, GA, son and daughter-in-law Steve and Sammye Lee of Franklin, Tennessee. Sister, Geraldine Kerr of Douglasville, sister-in-law, Virginia Lee of Temple, four grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday November 28, 2010 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica with Rev. Larry Boswell officiating. Gene McGuiken accompanied by Wayne Gilreath at the piano will preform vocal selections. Interment will follow at Pray’s Mill Cemetery on Hwy 5 in Douglasville. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Saturday November 27, 2010 from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
