Helen Argo

Ms. Helen Templeton Argo, age 75, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Saturday, September 14, 2013. She was born July 8, 1938 in Ft. Payne, Alabama the daughter of the late Mr. Inell Templeton and the late Mrs. Stella Mae Dobbs Templeton. She was a faithful member of Ephesus Baptist Church, where she was involved in many groups, including the Morning Glories. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She is survived by her two daughters and a son-in-law, Sherry & Brian Gabioud of Buchanan; and Sheila Payne of Winston; sisters, Elaine McGruder of Jonesboro and Pam Templeton & Janis Reece of Acworth; brothers and sisters-in-law, Don & Jolene Templeton and Randall & Brenda Templeton all of Ft. Payne, AL; six grandchildren, Christina, Matthew, Elizabeth, Allison, Joshua, and Will; three stepgrandchildren, Chad, Brandon, Samuel; five great-grandchildren, Oliver “Buddy”, Westley, Kadence, Korben, and Rylee; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel, Tuesday, September 17, 2013 from 4:30 PM until 8:30 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at 11:00 AM (EST) at Ephesus Baptist Church in Winston with Dr. Billy Godwin officiating. She will lie in state at the church from 10:30 AM until 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Walkers Chapel Cemetery in Ft. Payne, AL at 3:00 PM (EST).
