Helen Cohran

Mrs. Helen Turner Cohran, age 69, of Villa Rica, passed away, Friday, May 11, 2017. She was born April 26, 1948 in Winston, the daughter of the late Mr. Cleveland Turner and Annie Mae George Turner. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wayman Jimmy Cohran, Sr.; grandchild, Jonathan Cohran; brothers, William Turner, Gene Turner, Cleve Turner, Phillip Turner; sisters, Ann Turner Johnson, Katherine Butler, and Edna Barrmon.She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa and Jessie Criswell of Temple, Dana Marie and Doug Carlile of Buchanan; sons and daughters-in-law, Wayman and Kashmir Cohran, Jr. of Carrollton; sister, Celia Bekom of Cedartown, Minni Lee Spratlin of Newman, Opal Reid of Winston; brother, Herman Turner of Rockmart; nine grandchildren, Patience Marie McAdams, Jacob James and Emily Criswell, Morgan Michelle Cohran, Matthew Garrett Criswell, Helena Joann Cohran, Alisa Ski Criswell, Wayman Jimmy Cohran, III, Serenity Danielle Carlile, and Douglas Ethan Carlile; several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica Monday, May 15, 2017 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Monday, May 15, 2017 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Meadowbrook Memory Gardens in Villa Rica.
