Mrs. Helen Marilyn Wright Gilreath, 55, of Mt. Zion Church Road, Tallapoosa, Georgia passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2005 at her residence. She was born December 24, 1949, in Columbus, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Henry Wright, Sr. and the late Lorena Sins Wright. Mrs. Gilreath was of the Baptist faith. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Gilreath was preceded in death by four brothers, Mike Turner, Jimmy Wright, Tommy Wright and Danny Wright and three sisters, Dorothy Turner, Pam Wright and Eunice Wright. Survivors include her husband, David L. Gilreath of Tallapoosa; daughter and son-in-law, Leslie Dunnivan and Michael David Dawson of Phenix City, Alabama; son and daughter-in-law, Michael “Scott” and Angie Holt of Charlotte, North Carolina; five sisters, Pat Champion of Decatur, Illinois, Joyce Allen of Piedmont, Alabama, Deborah Wright of Villa Rica, Sharon Turner Kelley of Villa Rica and Diane Hudgins of Dallas; four brothers, Robert Lewis Turner of Fort Mitchell, Alabama, Henry Wright, Jr. of Granada, Mississippi, Marty Turner of Columbus and Ricky Turner of Columbus; four grandchildren, Selena Marie Holt, Logan Paul Dawson, Tyler David Dawson and Shyann Marie Holt; and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, July 2, 2005 at 11:00 AM from New Liberty Baptist Church in Paulding County with Rev. Marion Longshore officiating. Interment will follow at New Liberty Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Friday, July 1, 2005, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Messages of condolence may be sent to the family at www.jones-wynn.com.
