Helen Shirley

Mrs. Helen Marie Shirley, age 82 of Douglasville, Georgia, passed away Thursday, March 14, 2019. She was born November 30, 1936, the daughter of the late Mr. Attis Bagwell and Mrs. Ruby Griffith Bagwell. She enjoyed working in her yard. She was the Pastor of Full Gospel Pentecostal Church. She loved her church family.In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Heyward Shirley; son, Rusty Shirley.She is survived by her daughters, Anna Shirley of Georgia, Donna Shirley of Macon, Georgia; sons and daughter-in-law, Donald Shirley of Winston, Georgia, Stuart and Joan Shirley of Columbia, Tennessee; sisters, Jenny Hindmon of Buchanan, Frances Barnes of Kentucky; four grandchildren, David Shirley, DeAnn Waller, Dana McCrackin, Kenneth White; four great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, two special friends, Linda Bailey and Aillene Cooper also survive.The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home of Douglasville Saturday, March 16, 2019 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, March 16, 2019 at 12:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Pastor Tom Kelly, Pastor Aillene Cooper, and Pastor Phil Moore officiating.
