Helga Ida Heichel LeavittMrs. Helga Ida Heichel Leavitt, age 74, of Temple, passed away Sunday, November 3, 2013. She was born in Czechoslovakia, Germany the daughter of the late Mr. Adolph Heichel and the late Mrs. Maria Heichel. She attended the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Carrollton. She is survived by her husband, Lynn Porter Leavitt of Temple; daughter, Carolyn Sipes of Waco; sons, Alfred Leavitt of Temple, Thomas Leavitt of Temple; brother, Alfred Heichel of Germany; nine grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 601 Stewart Street in Carrollton Friday, November 8, 2013 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Friday, November 8, 2013 at 1:00 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Carrollton with Bishop Jon Anderson officiating.
