Henrietta Greene Kilgore

Mrs. Henrietta Greene Kilgore, age 76 of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Monday, July 27, 2020. She was born June 10, 1944 in Austell, Georgia the daughter of the late Mr. Henry Greene and the late Mrs. Faye Rainwater Greene. Mrs. Kilgore loved to crochet baby blankets, booties and hats for the Pregnancy Resource Center. She loved to read, sew and enjoyed all sorts of arts and crafts. Mrs. Kilgore was of the Southern Baptist faith. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Christopher Roy Kilgore, and brother, Johnny Greene. Mrs. Kilgore is survived by her husband, William Ronald Kilgore, Sr. of Douglasville, Georgia; daughter and son-in-law, Mitzi and Rick Blackstone of Winston, Georgia; son and daughter-in-law, Ron and Raney Kilgore of Conifer, Colorado; sisters and brothers-in-laws, Joy and Tony Lee of Winston, Georgia, Gail Allen of Dallas, Georgia, Debbie and Roy Daniell of Heflin, Alabama; brothers and sister-in-law, Bobby and Janice Greene of Roopville, Georgia, Tony and Judy Greene of Douglasville, Georgia, Ike Greene of Lineville, Alabama; six grandchildren, Megan Blackstone, Rylie Olson, Reisa Garrett, Caroline Blackstone, Rhett Kilgore, and Ramsey Kilgore; numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, August 1, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Heritage Baptist Church in Douglasville with Rev. Gene Fields officiating. Interment will follow at Douglasville City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the Pregnancy Resource Center.
