Henry Harold Cosby

Mr. Henry Harold Cosby, 89, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Sunday, October 1, 2006 at Embracing Hospice in Jonesboro. He was born August 30, 1917 in Carroll County, Georgia the son of the late Mr. Fred Cosby and the late Mrs. Dolly Byram Cosby. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Douglasville. He was the owner and operator of a television sales and service business for over 40 years. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Frances Horne Cosby of Douglasville; two daughters and son-in-law, Beverly Jo Cosby of Douglasville and Sally and Kevin Smith of Villa Rica; two sons, Dan Thomas Cosby and James R. Cosby both of Douglasville; one brother and sister-in-law, Albert James and Frances Parrish Cosby of Douglasville; 6 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Memorial Services will be conducted Sunday, October 22, 2006 at 4:00 PM from the Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel. Messages of condolences to the family may be sent to www.jones-wynn.com.
