Mr. Henry Herbert Kite Jr., age 73 of Douglasville, passed away Friday, January 18, 2019. He was born February 21, 1945 the son of the late Mr. Henry Herbert Kite Sr., and Mrs. Flora Camp Kite. He worked for 30 plus years at Stein Printing in Atlanta. He attended Douglasville Church of God of Prophecy. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by sister, Mary Frances Hammond; brother, Lamar Kite. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Jackie Westmoreland Kite; daughters and son-in-lawâs, Leigh and Dane Williams of Savannah, Paige and Blakely Johnson of Douglasville; sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and Terry New of Mill Creek, Washington; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Shelia and Jim Conway of Roswell; brothers-in-law and sister-in-lawâs, Gary and Dorothy Westmoreland of Douglasville, William Hammond of Temple; three grandchildren, Eastyn Williams, Madison Johnson, and Harper Johnson; nieces and nephews, Teresa Garrison, Shannon Reed, Jennifer Cumby, Kevin New, Patrick New, Anthony Westmoreland, and Scott Cumby; numerous great nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home Douglasville Tuesday, January 22, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at 12:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home Douglasville with Pastor Larry Lowery and Rev. Gary Westmoreland officiating. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
