Henry Lawrence Waldrop

Mr. Henry Lawrence Waldrop, age 85, of Lithia Springs, Georgia passed away Sunday, January 18, 2009 at Wellstar Douglas Hospital. He was born August 1, 1923 in Carroll County, Georgia the son of the late Mr. John Lester Waldrop and the late Mrs. Dora Easterwood Waldrop. He served in the U.S. Army Air Force in Germany and Panama during World War II. He married Frances Rebecca Hall on September 3, 1945 in Douglasville, Georgia. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lithia Springs. He worked as a trim shop machinist at Lockheed Martin. He is preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Frances Rebecca Hall Waldrop. He is survived by his two daughters, Donna Nickle and Dianne Bolding both of Douglasville; 7 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday, January 21, 2009 at 1:00 PM from the Douglas Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Dr. Marion Beaver officiating. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Douglasville. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel, Tuesday, January 20, 2009 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM.
