Henry Tasker

Mr. Henry Adebayo Tasker, age 61, of Lithia Springs, Georgia passed away Monday, October 21, 2013. He was born November 5, 1951 in Ibadan, Nigeria the son of the late Mr. Franklin A. Tasker and the late Mrs. Gladys Olabisi Durosaro Tasker. He was of the Christian Faith. He spent his career working as a mechanical engineer and was an owner at Tasker & Associates. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Miriam Iwuchukwu Tasker of Lithia Springs; daughter, Onome Tasker of Marina del Rey, California; son, Tome Tasker of Marina del Rey, California; brothers and sisters-in-law, Fred and Juline Tasker of Ellicott, Maryland, Jerry and Essi Tasker of Columbus, GA, and Richard and Pamela Tasker of Douglasville, GA; sisters and brothers-in-law, Dorothy Anago of Lagos, Nigeria, Florence Dimowo of Benin City, Nigeria, Ayo Ehondor of Warri, Nigeria, Helen and Brown Ogbeifun of Villa Rica, GA, Hilda and Godwin Amose of Villa Rica, GA, Blessing and Patrick Pereira of Ormond Beach, FL, and Magdalene and Austin Okoka of Villa Rica, GA; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville, Tuesday, October 29, 2013 from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville with Pastor Shaun Brooks officiating. Interment will follow at Mozley Memorial Gardens in Lithia Springs. A reception at the family home will immediately follow the interment.
