Herman Dean

Mr. Herman Lee Dean, age 85 of Lithia Springs, Georgia, passed away Thursday, June 13, 2019. He was born on December 22, 1933 the son of the late Mr. Paul Lee Dean and the late Mrs. Alice Tucker Dean. Mr. Dean was a Corrections Lieutenant for the State of California and a Corrections Officer for the Mobile County Jail. He was an Army Veteran. He is preceded in death by a step-son, Donald A. McCoy.Mr. Dean is survived by his wife, Martha McCoy Dean of Lithia Springs, Georgia; daughter, Alice P. McBride of Tulsa, Oklahoma; step-daughter, Corliss D. McCoy of Mableton, Georgia; son, Johny Lee Dean of Tulsa, Oklahoma; step-son, Michael C. McCoy of Atlanta, Georgia; A host of grandchildren; and great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, June 16, 2019 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home of Douglasville.Messages of condolences may be sent to the family at www.jones-wynn.com.
