Hilda Jo Williams Boutwell

Mrs. Hilda Jo Williams Boutwell, 70, of Villa Rica, passed away Sunday, January 03, 2010 at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta following a brief illness. She was born September 11, 1939, in Carroll County, Georgia, the daughter of the late James Clarence Williams and the late Mrs. Mary Edna Helton Williams. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Villa Rica where she was a member of the Sunshine Sunday School Class. She enjoyed county music and was a collector of Coca Cola memorabilia. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Jimmy Williams and one brother-in-law, Don Dobbs. Survivors include her husband, Jerry Boutwell of Villa Rica, daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Jody Willis of Villa Rica, son, Dr. Jason Boutwell of Atlanta, sister, Melba Dobbs of Villa Rica, brother and sister-in-law, Dan and Wilma Williams of Villa Rica, sister-in-law, Carolyn Williams of Villa Rica, 2 granddaughters, Lindsey Willis and Leslie Willis both of Villa Rica. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Villa Rica with Rev. Jeff Jones and Rev. Jeff Powell officiating. Franklin Richardson, Kelly McCord and Ben Pilgreen will perform musical selections. Interment will follow in Meadowbrook Memory Gardens with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Casey Dobbs, Jonathan Williams, Tim Williams, Jeff Bryant, Tony Johnson and Robert Ogletree. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica Monday, January 4, 2010, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests that contributions be made to First Baptist Church of Villa Rica-Building Fund, 1483 West Hwy 78, Villa Rica, GA 30180.
