Mrs. Hildreth Earlene Elsberry, 68, of Mableton, Georgia passed away Thursday, April 17, 2008 at Wellstar Cobb Hospital in Austell. Mrs. Elsberry was born November 11, 1939 in Carroll County, Georgia the daughter of the late John Lester Washington and the late Ruby Kate Lovins Washington. Mrs. Elsberry was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. She was active in the church and enjoyed playing Bingo. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Elsberry, and brothers, James Washington and John Washington. Survivors include her fiancé, Robert Fink of Austell; daughters and son in-law, Joyce Diane Gibson of Carrollton; and Melissa Annette and Lamar Holbrooks of Marietta; sons, Benjamin Franklin Cohran and Mark Anthony Cohran, both of Douglasville; sisters, Grace Guyton of Carrollton, and Judy Holtzclaw of Douglasville; brothers, Harold Washington of Villa Rica, Ronnie Washington of Douglasville, Bobby Washington of Paulding County, and Windle Washington of Colorado Springs, Colorado; six grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, April 19, 2008 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville with Rev. Neil Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Meadowbrook Memory Gardens on Hickory Level Road in Villa Rica. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville on Friday, April 18, 2008 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
