Holland G. Post

Mr. Holland G. Post, age 78, passed away on March 22, 2009 at his residence in Winston, Georgia. He was born February 21, 1931 in Atlanta, Georgia, the son of the late Charles Post and the late Mrs. Emma Clara Bone Post. Mr. Post was a Boiler Operator for the Hill Street Plant of Georgia Power where he was employed for 42 years. He was a member of the Ebenezer Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Larry Post. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Post of Winston; daughters and sons-in law, Debra and Steve Weldon of Lithia Springs, Robin and Frank Woods of Douglasville, Tracy and Chris Garrison of Ball Ground, and Joy Post, Georgia; sons, Tony and Rhonda Cash of Lithia Springs, Ricky Cash of Douglasville; sixteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday, March 24, 2009 at 3:00 PM from the Douglas Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Pastor Billy Lord, Rev. Dennis Reece, and Rev. Steve Weldon officiating. Interment will follow at the Mozley Memorial Gardens in Lithia Springs. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn funeral Home Douglas Chapel, Monday, March 23, 2009 from 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM.
