Honey Jean Bridges Skinner, 60, of Temple, passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2024. She was born on July 31, 1964, the daughter of the late Earl Wayne Bridges and the late Mary Frances Swain Bridges.
Honey's life was a testament to kindness and warmth, leaving an indelible mark on everyone she met. She had an outgoing personality and she never met a stranger. She embraced new friendships with open arms, creating bonds that lasted a lifetime. Her laughter and enthusiasm were infectious, and her ability to connect with others made every gathering feel like a celebration. Honey cherished the moments spent with her friends, valuing the importance of companionship and the joy it brings.
Honey had a deep passion for cooking and she found great pleasure in walking and enjoying the beauty of the outdoors.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Penny Lynn Weddington.
She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Brandi and Phillip Iddings and Monica and Issac Armstrong; sister and brother-in-law, Kim and Scott Veal; brother, Michael Wayne Bridges; four grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will take place on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home Villa Rica Chapel from 4:00PM until 8:00 PM.
