Horace W. Moore

Mr. Horace William Moore, age 86, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Friday, July 9, 2010. He is survived by his wife, Doris H. Moore; son and daughter-in-law, Guy E. and Julie Moore of Douglasville; daughter, Sharon Morris of Douglasville; sister, Alice Dickinson of Miami Shores, FL; 4 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Mr. Moore was a member of the First Baptist Church of Douglasville where he served as an usher for 45 years. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II having served in Europe. Graveside Funeral Services will be conducted Monday, July 12, 2010 at 10:00 AM from Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Douglasville. Military Honors will be provided by the U.S. Army Honor Guard. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel on Sunday, July 11, 2010 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mr. Horace W.
