Hubert Jackson Jones Jr., “Jack”, 60, of Lithia Springs, passed away from natural causes on Saturday, April 19, 2025. He was born on February 4, 1965 in Atlanta, Georgia and was a 1983 graduate of Lithia Springs High School.
Jack retired as a Facilities Manager in the restaurant industry. He also worked in the amusement park industry with Six Flags over Georgia; Six Flags AstroWorld in Houston, Texas; and Kemah Boardwalk in Kemah, Texas.
A passionate outdoorsman, Jack loved being in nature, especially in the mountains. He spent any spare time hunting or fishing at Sweetwater Creek State Park or any lake and ocean he was near.
Another passion of Jack’s was cooking. He was an awesome chef and loved to share his food and skills with family and friends.
An avid Alabama football fan, Jack was loyal to his favorite team, sharing game days with family and friends as he cheered them on. His sports passion led to coaching his children and grandchildren in soccer, softball, and baseball.
Above all, Jack was immensely proud of his grandchildren, who were a constant source of joy and inspiration in his life. His legacy will be remembered through the love he shared and the memories he created with all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Jack is preceded in death by his father, Hubert Jackson Jones, Sr.
He is survived by his loving mother, Elaine Millirons Jones; daughters and their spouses: Brittany (Josh) Spencer and Hannah (Alesha) Jones; sons and their spouses: Cody (Paige) Jones and Hunter (Rachel) Jones; brother and sister-in-law, Doug (Thaedra) Jones; and grandchildren: Laiken, Kasen, Brentlee, Maddiann, Houston, Truett, Collyn, Addison, Alaina, Haden, and Raegan.
In accordance with his wishes, Mr. Jones was cremated. A celebration of life will be held on May 15, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Ashven Estate (100 McPherson Rd, Villa Rica, GA 30180).
