Hubert Lee Casey

Mr. Hubert Lee Casey, age 87, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Thursday, March 26, 2020. He was born April 24, 1932 in Gordon County, Georgia, the son of the late Edward Casey and the late Eula Holt. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, having served and retiring after 20 years. After retiring from the Air Force, Mr. Casey worked for over 18 years as a facility manager for Atlanta Textile. He enjoyed cutting grass, bird watching, and tinkering – he loved to fix anything. He was a NASCAR and golf fan. Mr. Casey was a wonderful husband and father. He was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents, Mr. Casey was preceded in death by a baby sister, his brothers, Elbert Casey, George Casey, Bobby Casey, Dennis Casey and Jimmy Casey and a granddaughter, Amber Addison. Mr. Casey is survived by his wife, Jeanette Waters Casey of Douglasville; his daughters and son-in-law, Tammy Addison of Douglasville, Sandra Gail (Larry) Morton of Little Rock, Arkansas and Shana Dixon of Atlanta; his sons, Michael B. Casey of Douglasville and Jeffery "Neal" Casey of Douglasville; his sisters, Linda Cooper of Calhoun and Juanita DeLee of Fort Walton Beach, Florida; his brother, Allen Casey of Alabama; 9 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
