Huey Lamar "Bud" Thompson

Mr. Huey Lamar “Bud” Thompson, age 66, of Villa Rica, Georgia passed away Friday, June 12, 2009 at the Atlanta Medical Center in Atlanta, Georgia. Mr. Thompson was born December 20, 1942 in Meridian, Mississippi, the son of the late Mr. Dewey Thompson and the late Mrs. Pauline Thompson. He worked for CSX Railroad as a clerk. In addition to his parents, Mr. Thompson was preceded in death by his brother, William Thompson. Survivors include his sons, Darren James Thompson of Villa Rica and Hugh Lamar Thompson of Florida; his sister, Louise Burt of Smyrna; 6 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive. Graveside Services will be conducted Monday, June 15, 2009 at 11:00AM at Meadowbrook Memory Gardens on Hickory Level Road in Villa Rica, Georgia with Celebrant Glenn P. Gilmore officiating. Interment will follow in Meadowbrook Memory Gardens, Villa Rica. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica on Monday, June 15, 2009 from 10:00AM until 11:00AM.
