Ida McDuffie

Mrs. Ida Mae Sibley McDuffie, age 93, of Lithia Springs, Georgia passed away Saturday, March 22, 2014. She was born April 18, 1920 in Douglasville, Georgia, the daughter of the late Mr. Jessie Wayne Sibley and the late Mrs. Annie Mae Gilland Sibley. She was a member of the First Baptist Church Lithia Springs and was a homemaker. She loved gardening and cooking for her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rufus Roland McDuffie; sons, Rufus Thomas McDuffie and W.J. McDuffie; and all of her brothers and sisters. She is survived by one daughter, Frances McDuffie Cole of Lilburn; sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Gail McDuffie of Villa Rica, Steve and Rita McDuffie of Carrollton, and Howard McDuffie of Lithia Springs; eighteen grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; many great-great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville, Tuesday, March 25, 2014 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville with Dr. Marion Beaver officiating.
