Ida Sue Meherg

Ida Sue Meherg, age 78, passed away Sunday, October 30, 2022. She was born October 27, 1944, daughter of the late Mr. Ira Lee Meherg and the late Mrs. Minnie Bell Tarwater Meherg. She was always a church going woman and worked hard all of her life. Mrs. Meherg helped raise her entire family and was a mama to a lot of folks.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her brothers, Willie Meherg, Olean Meherg, Hoyt Meherg, James A. Meherg, Douglas Meherg, Davis Neal Meherg; sisters, Myrtle Roper, Dorothy Gaynell Kline, Sarah J. Meherg.

She is survived by brother, Robert Glenn Meherg of Villa Rica; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn funeral home in Villa Rica on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The funeral service will take place on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at 1:00 PM from the chapel of Jones-Wynn funeral home in Villa Rica with Pastor Ricky Shirley officiating. Interment will follow at Meadowbrook Memory Gardens in Villa Rica.
