Imogene Nalley

Mrs. Imogene “Jean” Otwell Nalley, age 83, passed away Thursday, October 2, 2014 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born August 13, 1931 in Carroll County, GA the daughter of the late Mr. Charles Wayne Otwell and Mrs. Lois Jane Boatright Otwell. She was affectionately known to everyone as “Nannie”. She was very devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved the Nalley farm and anything outdoors. She was a wonderful friend to everyone and her children consider it a “blessing” to call her mother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Winton Nalley and her son, Larry “Sam” Nalley. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Dianne and Aubrey Jordan of Heflin, AL, Jane Nalley and Jimmie Taylor of Villa Rica, Verra and Craig Garner of Villa Rica, Susan and Jeff Glenn of Temple; son and daughter-in-law, Earl and Sherry Nalley of Villa Rica; grandchildren, Scarlett Jordan, Shannon Nalley and Nicholas Thornton, Clint and Amberly Nalley, Clay Nalley, Michelle Nalley, Effort and Marsha Nalley, Seth McCall, Kimberly and Robert Stafford, Joshua Taylor, Olivia and Jimmy Barnwell, Heather and Marc Finsterbusch, Candace and Derek Elsberry; twenty-one great-grandchildren, Cameron Nalley, Brock Powell, Ace Thornton, Colby, Carson and Caden Nalley, Ashley, Alexis and Triston Nalley, Makhala and Kendall Stafford, Rainey Taylor, Kamri, Kenzlei, and Winton Barnwell, Allie and Ayden Finsterbusch, Nolen Elsberry and Dakota, Savannah, and Jackson Nalley.The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Saturday, October 4, 2014 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Sunday, October 5, 2014 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. Todd Wright and Rev. Horace Wilson officiating.
