Irene Carolyn Boldt Wadsworth

Mrs. Irene Carolyn Boldt Wadsworth, age 96, of Marietta, Georgia passed away Tuesday, February 8, 2011. She was born July 13, 1914 in Elgin, Illinois; the daughter of the late Mrs. Mary Henrietta Boldt and Mr. Walter Boldt of Elgin, Illinois. She was a long standing member of the Faith Lutheran Church of Marietta, Georgia and was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Donald Wadsworth on May 29, 2007; son, Billy Wadsworth; son-in-law, Kel Kelley on January 28, 2008; and brother, Benjamin Boldt. She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Joanne Wadsworth Kelley of Douglasville, Georgia; and Georgia Wadsworth Ingraham and husband, Tony Ingraham of Tucson, Arizona; two grandsons, Tommy Griffiths and David Ahmad; two great-grandsons, Hunter Griffiths and Alan Griffiths. Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday, February 10, 2011 at 2:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church of Douglasville with Rev. Max Caylor officiating. She will lie in state at the church from 1:30 PM until the funeral hour. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Sterling, Illinois.
