Irene Dowdy Garrison

Mrs. Irene Dowdy Garrison, 94, of Carrollton, Georgia passed away at her home in her sleep on March 10, 2008. She was born March 26, 1913 in Murray, Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her husband, Toy Garrison of Murray, Kentucky and son, Nelson Garrison of Lake Havesu City, Arizona. She is survived by daughter, Brenda Brackett of Carrollton, Georgia; daughter in-law, Doris Garrison of Lake Havesu City, Arizona; grandchildren, Michelle Sinquefield, Juvanna Escher, Nelson Garrison, Jr., Greg Garrison, Chad Garrison, Mike Garrison and their respective families. She loved her Lord and was in His Word daily until her health failed her. A Memorial service will be held at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 3988 Hwy 5, Douglasville, Georgia 30135 on Palm Sunday, March 16, 2008 at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, a memorial may be donated to Prince of Peace Lutheran Church Banner Fund. Messages of condolence may be sent to the family at www.jones-wynn.com.
