Mrs. Irma Ethel Black Lee, 95 of Carrolton Manor in Carrollton, GA, formerly of Taylors Gin Road, Temple passed away, Saturday, September 20, 2009 at Carrollton Manor . She was born Feb. 5, 1914 in Carroll County, Georgia the daughter of the late Mr. William Cornelius Black and the late Mrs. Esther Taylor Black. She was retired from the textile industry where she was an inspector; during her career she worked for Tech Styles, Hubbards and Sewells. She was of the Baptist Faith. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband James Oliver Lee, brothers, Eugene Black, Horace Black, and Buna Black, sisters, Louise Garner, Lucille Phillips, Geneva Harwell and Elizabeth DeFoor. Survivors include daughter and son in law, Karen Ann and Tony Cohran of Villa Rica, 2 sons and daughters in law, Gary Dean and Sheryl Lee and James Ronald (Ronnie) and Susan Lee all of Carrollton, sister, Betty Joe Carden of Bremen, 5 grandchildren, Michael Lee, Stacey Lee, Robert Lee, Ashley Rakestraw and Cindy Williams, six great grandchildren several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted, Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. Tony Morris officiating. Interment will follow in the New Brooklyn Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Danny Phillips, Robert Lee, Michael Lee, Jimmy Williams, Wil Rakestraw and Michael Moore. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday, September 21, 2009 from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. Messages of condolences may be sent to the family at www.jones-wynn.com.
