Irma George HeltonMrs. Irma George Helton, age 77, of Temple, passed away, Tuesday, February 04, 2014 at Carrollton Nursing and Rehab. She was born August 13, 1936 in Carroll County, Georgia the daughter of the late Mr. John Henry George, Sr. and the late Mrs. Grace Cole George. She was a homemaker, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Buren Van Helton in 2006 and one sister, Reba Hubbard.She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Gena Helton of Carrollton; sisters, Betty Camp of Temple, Marvine George of Al and Magaline Deese of Carrollton; brother and sister-in-law, Rev. John and Carolyn George; three grandchildren, Coty Helton and Kayla Poe of Carrollton and Tony and Chasta Helton of Bremen; two great grandchildren, Cheyenne and Austin Helton of Bremen; Several nieces and nephews also survive.The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Wednesday, February 5, 2014 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM. Graveside Services will be conducted Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at 12:00 PM from Meadowbrook Memory Gardens with Rev. John George officiating. Interment will follow at Meadowbrook Memory Gardens.
