Mr. Jack Andrew Snyder, 72, of Villa Rica, Georgia, formerly of Aurora, Illinois, passed away Thursday, September 28, 2006 at his residence. He was born November 2, 1933 in Moline, Illinois. He was the son of the late Mr. Andrew Snyder and the late Mrs. Arlene Snyder. Mr. Snyder was a veteran of the United States Army having served during the Korean Conflict with the 52nd Airborne Unit in Germany. He worked in wholesale liquor sales. Mr. Snyder was a free and happy spirit who loved people. He worked at the Mirror Lake Welcome Center and served as ranger at the Mirror Lake Golf Course. Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Mrs. Rebecca Ruhl Snyder of Villa Rica; his daughters, Anastasia âStacyâ Glover of Villa Rica; Kelly Cummings of Port Washington, New York; his son, Greg Shunick of Port Washington, New York; his sister, Rose Fox of Illinois; his brothers, Don Van de Walle and Dick Van de Walle of Illinois; four grandchildren, including Katie Glover and Jake Glover, both of Villa Rica; a number of brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, October 1, 2006 at 3:30 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Georgia. The family will be receiving friends in the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Sunday, October 1, 2006 from 1:00PM until the funeral hour.
