Jack Cecil Roberson

Mr. J. C. “Jack” Roberson, age 75, of Villa Rica, Georgia passed away Sunday, September 26, 2010 at Wellstar Douglas Hospital in Douglasville, Georgia. He was born May 18, 1935, the son of the late Mr. Ralph Roberson and the late Mrs. Grace Norris Roberson. He is retired from Atlanta Beverage Company of Atlanta, Georgia. He also served in the Navy during the Korean Conflict. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Barbara Ellen Roberson. Survivors include his daughter, Suzanne Woolsey of Winston; sons and daughter-in-law, Randy Roberson of Villa Rica and Terry and Diane Roberson of Williamstown, New Jersey; brother and sister-in-law, Ralph and Violy Roberson, Jr. of Douglasville; 7 grandchildren, Joe Roberson, Tanya Roberson, Rebecca Roberson, Colton Woolsey, Carlie Roberson, Samantha Roberson and Jesse Roberson; and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica with Rev. Terry Marbut officiating. Delaine Lloyd will be speaking on behalf of the family. Interment will follow in Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Douglasville, Georgia. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica on Tuesday, September 28, 2010 from 6:00PM until 8:00PM.
