Jack Hayes

Mr. Jack Darrell Hayes, age 80, of Temple, passed away, Tuesday, August 8, 2017. He was born May 30, 1937 in Trafford, AL the son of the late Mr. Sampson Hayes and the late Mrs. Mary Pike Hayes. Jack coached girls’ softball over 40 years for recreation departments around West Georgia. He loved his land, his tractor, and playing golf-he even had a hole in one. Jack was an avid Alabama fan. He was a member of The Fellowship Class at First Baptist Church in Villa Rica.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother and sister-in-law, Roy and Gwen Hayes. Jack is survived by his wife, Florence Ringl Hayes of Temple, GA; daughters and sons-in-law, Jackie Hayes of Villa Rica, GA, Donna Hayes of Los Angeles, CA, Laura and Chuck Rogers of Woodstock, GA, Beth and Doug Keel of Huntsville, AL, Wendy and Scott Kane of Boones Mill, VA; sister, Judy Atkins of Dallas, GA; fourteen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home Friday, August 11, 2017 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, August 12, 2017 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Dr. Kevin Williams and Rev. Jeff Powell officiating.
