Mr. James Gregory âGregâ Agan, age 50, of Atlanta, Georgia passed away Sunday, January 29, 2012 at his home following an extended illness. He was born December 16, 1961 in Villa Rica, Georgia the son of the late Mrs. Annie Mary Strickland Agan and Mr. Billy Gene Agan of Temple. He was of the Baptist Faith and worked as a truck driver for Averitt Trucking Company. He was the co owner of Dedicated Community Support and Services. He was very involved in the Special Olympics Program. He is survived by his partner, David Chitwood of Atlanta; his father and stepmother, Billy Gene and Nina Agan of Temple; sisters, Gail Agan, Tammy Elsberry, Tracy Bentley and Penny King; brothers, Jerry Agan and Chuck Dempsey; special niece, Angela Camp; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel, Monday, January 30, 2012 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville with Pastor Ken Magness officiating.
