James Belk

Mr. James Michael “Mike” Belk, age 80 of Lithia Springs, Georgia passed away Sunday, May 26, 2019. He was born June 19, 1938, the son of the late Mr. James O. Belk and the late Mrs. Margaret Gayle James Belk. He was a customer service inspector with Associate of American Railroads. He worked with upholstery for several years. Mr. Belk had a 1953 Hudson Hornet and was a member of the Hudson Essex Terriplane Dixie Chapter as well as the Golden City Cruisers. He loved fishing and gardening. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by two children, Sandra Denise Belk and Bryan Belk.He is survived by his wife, Beverly Bridges Belk of Lithia Springs; sons and daughter in law, Michael and Catherine Belk of Rockhill, South Carolina, Tim Belk of York, South Carolina; sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and Orville Kyle Bundy of LaMargue, Texas; brothers and sister-in-law, Tim Belk of Guatemala, Bruce and Kay Belk of Pearland, Texas, Terry Belk of Charlotte, North Carolina, Bill Belk; five grandchildren; one great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive.
