Mr. James Benjamin Bryant, age 69, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Monday, March 9, 2015. He was born September 27, 1945 in Mableton, Georgia, the son of the late Mr. Lee Roy Bryant and the late Mrs. Mary Frances Ellis Bryant. He retired after 35 years as a warehouse supervisor at Americold Logistics. He was an avid fan of NASCAR and the Atlanta Braves. He enjoyed the Andy Griffith Show and the Beverly Hillbillies. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Frances Bryant; and brothers, William âBillâ Bryant and Charles Lee Bryant. He is survived by one son and a daughter-in-law, Jason and Brendalyn Bryant of Villa Rica; sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Frank Davis of Florida; three grandchildren, Kaitlyn Sue Bryant, Brandon Lee Bryant, and Kathryn Sue Bryant; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville, Friday, March 13, 2015 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, March 14, 2015 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville with Pastor Jim Grieme officiating. Interment will follow at Rosehaven Memorial Park. The following will serve as pallbearers: Brandon Bryant, Craig Morrissey, Robert Collins, Bobby Capps, Jim Smith and Will Ray.
