James Carlson

Jim CarlsonMr. James Malcolm Carlson, age 69, of Villa Rica passed away, April 23, 2017. He was born June 13, 1947 in Illinois the son of the late Mr. Orville Henry Carlson and the late Mrs. Dorothy Louise Murray Carlson. Mr. Carlson served in the United States Army. He retired from Print Pack after 35 years of service. Mr. Carlson loved to volunteer at the Chick-Fil-A Bowl in Atlanta and served as a Marshall at the Eastlake Golf Course for the Pro Tour Championship. He enjoyed tennis and was an avid Chicago Cubs fan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Rosemary Carlson; brothers, Walter Henry Carlson, Thomas E. Carlson, Orville H. Carlson, Sr.He is survived by his wife, Betty Sue Henager Carlson of Villa Rica; sisters, Maryjo Carlson of Tullahoma, TN; brothers, Clifford L. Carlson of Nevada, Robert E. Carlson of IL; several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica Wednesday, April 26, 2017 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday, April 27, 2017 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Fairmount Willow Hills Memorial Park in Willow Springs, IL at a later date. Messages of condolence may be sent to the family at www.jones-wynn.com.
