James Christopher "Chris" Landmon

Mr. James Christopher “Chris” Landmon, age 47, of Winston, Georgia passed away Sunday, November 26, 2006 at Wellstar Tranquility Hospice. He was born July 19, 1959 in Douglas County, Georgia the son of Mrs. Virginia Evans Landmon and the late Mr. Harold Edwin Landmon. He was a member of Beulah Baptist Church in Douglasville. He married Tammy Sollicito on December 12, 1992. He worked as the garden manager for the Home Depot Store in Douglasville where he received his 19 year service pin. He is survived by his loving wife, Mrs. Tammy Landmon of Winston; one daughter, Daisy Millsap of Winston; three sons, Jason Landmon of Temple, Joshua Landmon of Temple, and Anthony Millsap of Winston; his mother, Mrs. Virginia Evans Landmon of Douglasville; one brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Mary Alice Landmon of Baxley; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday, November 29, 2006 at 2:00 PM at Beulah Baptist Church in Douglasville with Pastor Wayne Bray and Rev. Danny Watters officiating. He will lie in state at the church from 1:00 PM until the funeral hour. Musical selections of will be rendered by Mr. Terry Pearman. Interment will follow at Beulah Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers: David Vautin, Bobby Smith, Curt Gable, Chris Lockhart, Russ Brown, and Jimmy Haynes. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Mr. Landmon's co-workers from the Home Depot Store of Douglasville. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel Tuesday, November 28, 2006 from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
