Mr. James Monroe Corn, age 66, of Carrollton, passed away November 5, 2014. He was born April 30, 1948 in Anniston, AL, the son of the late Mr. Seals Corn and the late Mrs. Violet Reaves Corn. He served as a Ship Serviceman in the United States Navy and retired after 20 years of service. After his retirement from the military Mr. Corn owned and operated Corn Heating and Air. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, Billy Corn and Butch Corn. He is survived by his wife, Anita Martin Corn of Carrollton; daughter, Robin Lee Corn of Carrollton; son and daughter-in-law, Christian Jerome and Stacy Corn of Bowden; sister and brother-in-law, Debbie and Donnie Smith of Carrollton; brother and sister-in-law, Phillip and Wanda Corn of Anniston, AL; four grandchildren, Alex Corn, Christian Corn, Jase Corn and Addison Corn. Several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Saturday, November 8, 2014 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, November 8, 2014 at 1:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home.
