James Chadwick Cox

James Chadwick Cox, 37, of Bremen, passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2025. He was born on May 3, 1988, the son of the late James Edward Cox and Laura Ruth Watson Wilson of Bremen.

Chad held a deep love for his family and children. He was a devoted dad who cherished every moment spent with his little ones, making memories that will last forever. He was an outdoorsman and he found joy in hunting and fishing. Whether he was casting a line into the lake or trekking through the woods, he loved to be outdoors. Chad also had a love for music and he enjoyed singing.

He was preceded in death by his son, Colyn James Cox; sisters, Catherine Briana Cox and Veronica Jacinda Laurein Cox.

He is survived by his parents, Laura and Don Wilson of Bremen; children, Jacinda Claire Cox and Caden Lee Cox; several cousins and extended family.

The family will receive friends on Friday, December 12, 2025 at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home Villa Rica Chapel from 11:00 AM until the funeral at 12:00 PM with Pastor Jeff Byrd officiating. Interment will follow at Meadowbrook Memory Gardens.

Though he has departed from this world, the love Chad held for his family will forever live on through his family. His memory will forever be cherished by those who had the privilege of knowing him. Chad will always be remembered not just for his passions, but for the way he made the people around him feel. He made them feel treasured, loved, and welcomed. As we remember Chad, let us carry his spirit forward, honoring his legacy by loving fiercely and enjoying every moment.
