James Denson

Mr. James E. Denson, age 73, of Dallas, passed away Friday, December 13, 2013 at Wellstar Tranquility Hospice in Austell. He was born August 25, 1940 in Pickens, GA the son of the late Mr. Richard Frank Denson and the late Mrs. Alice Vera Bland Denson. He was self-employed as a Carpenter and Farmer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn Seals Denson; son, Michael Shane Denson; brothers, Howard Denson, Herman Denson, Bobby Denson, Charlie Denson. He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Deborah and William Couch of Villa Rica, Vickie Lynn Earnest of Dallas; sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry Timothy and Tara Denson of Cartersville, Eddie and Traci Denson of Buchanan, David Denson of Athens; sister and brother-in-law, Catherine and Dick Dunn of Marietta brothers and sisters-in-law, Larry and Mary Denson of Douglasville, Rick and Rita Denson of Douglasville; 13 grandchildren, Jamie and Jessica Denson of Dallas, Tony Denson of Buchanan, Adam and Latasha Denson of Dallas, Sera and Dominic Trevino of Buchanan, Hope and Adam Collett of Villa Rica, Dalton Earnest of Douglasville, William and Levi Denson of Buchanan and Braden Denson of Cartersville, Nina and Jacob Couch; 8 great grandchildren, Kenlei and Chevy Trevino, Zara and Trinity Denson, Aiden, Noah, and Grace Denson and Abi Collett. Several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Saturday, December 14, 2013 from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Sunday, December 15, 2013 at 3:00 PM from the chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Argo and Rev. Tommy Little officiating.
