James Earl Hopkins, Sr.

Mr. James Earl Hopkins, Sr. age 58, of Waco, Georgia passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at his residence. He was born November 14, 1951 in Fulton County, Georgia, the son of the late Mr. Rufus Cecil Hopkins and Mrs. Ida Beth Barnum Hicks. Mr. Hopkins worked as a truck driver. He attended the New Life Center. Survivors include his daughter, Tamara H. Rinehart of Riverdale; his sons, George Scott Hopkins of Temple and James Earl “J.J.” Hopkins, Jr. of Temple; his mother and step-father, Beth and James Davis Hicks of Waco; his sister, Emily Hopkins of Marietta; his brother and sister-in-law, Carl and Tammy Hopkins of Villa Rica; 4 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews also survive. Memorial Services will be conducted Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at 11:00AM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica with Rev. Ron Brooks and Carl Hopkins officiating.
